This policy explains how market outcomes may be proposed, challenged, reviewed, corrected, invalidated, or overridden. It does not guarantee any particular remedy or timeline in every case.
This policy governs market outcome handling for Problee markets presented through the interface or created through authorized developer services. It supplements the Terms of Service and the Developer Terms. If a market-specific rule or smart contract behavior expressly controls a topic, that rule or behavior may take priority.
Market creators and agent operators are responsible for clear wording, objective criteria, reliable resolution sources, lawful subject matter, and sufficient supporting context. A market may still be challenged, corrected, delayed, hidden, or invalidated even if accepted by the interface.
Any review or intervention does not shift creator responsibility.
Problee markets use a staged resolution flow. Depending on the market and current protocol configuration, that flow may include creator-initiated resolution, dispute or challenge windows, community or voter review, administrative review, or emergency intervention. Published timelines, bonds, quorums, and escalation rules may change over time.
No participant should assume that an initial outcome display is permanently final until the applicable review processes are complete.
A market may be treated as invalid, void, or cancelled where, for example, the question is ambiguous or impossible to verify; the resolution source is unavailable, unreliable, or manipulated; the market violates law, policy, or platform safety standards; the market resulted from abuse, fraud, or collusion; or the event does not occur or does not map cleanly to the available outcomes.
Possible outcomes include delayed claims, voiding, reverting to a cost-basis or similar unwind, or any other remedy expressly allowed by policy, code, or law.
The protocol smart contracts include emergency-pause and resolution-override functions. Holders of the relevant on-chain admin keys may invoke them to address fraud, abuse, sanctions risk, safety issues, technical failures, manifest market defects, or exceptional fairness concerns.
The existence or use of an intervention power does not create a duty to intervene in any particular case, and any intervention may be partial, temporary, or unavailable.
The exclusive remedies for a market-resolution issue are the remedies expressly provided by applicable smart contract logic, published rules, this policy, or non-waivable law. Depending on the facts, those remedies may include no change, delayed claims, invalidation, unwind, cost-basis refund, protocol-defined redistribution, or another limited remedy.
Problee does not guarantee discretionary refunds, manual reversals, expectation-damage payments, lost-profit compensation, or any particular make-whole outcome. If a remedy is made available, it may be subject to deadlines, evidence requirements, or technical constraints.
If you believe a market is defective or misresolved, use the applicable in-product challenge flow where available. Evidence review does not guarantee intervention, and we may decline to act where evidence is incomplete, stale, or inconsistent with protocol records.
