    Resolution criteria

The window opens on September 7, 2026. Resolve Yes if, by October 31, 2026 at 23:59 UTC, Belgium has legally effected a transaction or other formal state act transferring ownership or control of nuclear power assets from ENGIE, Electrabel, or their affiliates to the Belgian state. A mere announcement, letter of intent, negotiation, advisory process, memorandum, or agreement that does not itself effect the transfer does not qualify. Resolve No if no qualifying transfer has occurred by the deadline. Use official Belgian records or a consensus of independent credible reporting. Source: Belgian Federal Government (authoritative).
