    Resolution criteria

    The window opens on September 6, 2026. Resolve Yes if South Korean military personnel physically enter and operate in the Strait of Hormuz by October 18, 2026, as established by an official statement or a consensus of independent credible reporting. An announcement, parliamentary approval, planning, or deployment elsewhere does not count. Resolve No if that deployment has not occurred by October 18, 2026.
