Resolution criteria
The window opens on September 7, 2026. Resolve YES if, by September 30, 2026 at 23:59 UTC, South Korea formally authorizes the deployment of military personnel to the Strait of Hormuz. The authorization must be established by an official act or statement from the South Korean government or National Assembly, or by a consensus of independent credible reporting confirming that the authorization occurred. Policy review, negotiations, requests, proposed plans, or announcements that authorization may occur do not count. Resolve NO if no such authorization occurs by the deadline.
